June E. Winborn
KALONA - June E. Winborn, 85, of Kalona, died Friday, March 28, 2008, in Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, of pneumonia.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, in the Sharon Center United Methodist Church in Kalona with the Rev. Doug Cue officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Center Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Memorials may be made to the Pleasantview Home or Sharon Center United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Winborn was born June 18, 1922, the daughter of Roscoe and Ida (Grundbacher) Niffenegger. She married Russell Winborn on Nov. 20, 1942, in the Sharon Center Church parsonage.
