June LaMira Winder June 6, 1931 - May 24, 2005

June LaMira Winder, 73, of Wapello, died Tuesday morning, May 24, 2005, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 27, at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello, with the Rev. Harlan W. Winter officiating. Burial will be in Wapello Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 26 at the funeral home, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to the Wapello Community Ambulance Service.

      Survivors include two daughters, Glenda Winder of New London, and Kay Smith of Wapello; a son, Gary Winder of Wapello; two grandchildren; three sisters, Donna Schwob of Wapello, Joyce Hamilton of Longmont, Colo., and Helen Gustison of Wapello; and two brothers, Fred Petersen of Letts, and Dale Petersen of Mediapolis.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, four sisters, one in infancy, and a brother.
