Kara L. Harvey

Kara Lynne Yaley Harvey, 42, of West Point, died Monday, Nov. 17, at Henry County Health Center.

Visitation began at noon today, Nov. 19, at St. James the Less Catholic Church in St. Paul, with a rosary at 3 p.m., a 7 p.m. wake service, and family present from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at the church with the Rev. Gary Beckman officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove South Cemetery, rural Danville.

Memorials have been established for the Holy Trinity Music Department and St. James the Less Catholic Church.

She was born Jan. 26, 1966, in Burlington, the daughter of Donald Yaley and Bessie Yaley Fleming. She married Mike Holtkamp. On Aug. 5, 2006, she married Jerry Harvey in Danville.
