Karolee Wirt

COLUMBUS JUNCTION ? Karolee Wirt, 70, of Columbus Junction, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, in Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction.

    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at the Columbus Junction United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Faye Fedlam and the Rev. Nancy Oehler Love officiating. Burial will be in the Cambrian Cemetery. Following the committal services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Columbus City Masonic Hall. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. Memorials may be directed to the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky.

    Miss Wirt was born March 29, 1940, in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of Albert Byrd and Virginia Lee (Copper) Wirt. She married Richard L. Jones ? a member and elder of the Cotter congregation ? on Aug. 26, 1986, at Winfield Presbyterian Church in Winfield.
