Katherine Louise Lauer

Katherine Louise Lauer, 91, of Danville, died at 6:13 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2005, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

      The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 25 at Prugh's Chapel with Pastor Dean Moberg officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the chapel, with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to St. Paul's United Church of Christ in West Burlington.

Survivors include three sons, James Lauer of Danville, Jack Lauer of St. Louis, and Harold Lauer of Denver; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lucille Johnmeyer of Booneville.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
