Katherine M. Eagle

      Katherine M. Eagle, 91, of Washington, Iowa, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, at the M.L. McCreedy Home in Washington following a short battle with cancer.

      A Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. James Catholic Church in Washington, with the Rev. Ed O'Melia officiating. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Richmond.

      Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m., and a prayer service will begin at 5 p.m. followed by a CDA Rosary.

      Memorials have been established to St. James Catholic Church and the M.L. McCreedy Home.

      Mrs. Eagle was born April 29, 1916, near Keota, the daughter of Andrew and Katherine Lahr Henry. She married Clement Eagle May 30, 1939, at St. Joseph's Church in East Pleasant Plain. He died in 2006.
