Katherine M. Eagle

      Katherine M. Eagle, 91, of Washington, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, in the M.L. McCreedy Home in Washington following a short battle with cancer.

      Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 3, in the St. James Catholic Church in Washington with the Rev. Ed O'Melia officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Prayer services will be held at 5 p.m. with a CDA Rosary following. Interment will take place at The Holy Trinity Cemetery in Richmond. Memorials may be made to the St. James Catholic Church or the M.L. McCreedy Home.

      Mrs. Eagle was born April 29, 1916, near Keota, the daughter of Andrew and Katherine (Lahr) Henry. She married Clement Eagle on May 30, 1939 in St. Joseph's Church in East Pleasant Plain.
