Katheryn A. West
ANKENY - Katheryn A. West, 73, of Bloomfield, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, after a battle with leukemia.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, in the Brighton Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Brighton United Church in Brighton. Memorial Services of Iowa in Ankeny is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. West was born May 21, 1935 in Brighton, the daughter of Clifford and Frances (Derby) Leeper. She married Richard 'Jake" Carey in June 1954. She later married Francis Carkhuff. She later married Leo West in 1992.
