Kathleen “Kathy” Joyce Billingsley, 65, of Brighton, IA, died Saturday, May 18, 2024 at her home. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Gibson – Bode Funeral Home, Port Byron, IL. Services will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Port Byron. Memorials may be made to Diane Joy to go toward the purchase of a headstone.

Kathy was born on July, 4, 1958 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Elmer LaVern and Alice Joyce (Wells) Billingsley. She was a graduate of Riverdale High School in 1976. She worked at Tyson, formerly IBP in Joslin, IL, as a USDA meat inspector.

Kathy was a very devoted mother and grandmother. Family was her everything. She had an infectious smile and laugh.

She is survived by her sons, Jake Stottler (Cursty Carson), Brighton, IA; Mikey Stottler (Shannon Jones), Brighton, IA; Chelsea Stottler, Washington, IA; sisters, Vicki (Don) Dague, Port Byron, Diane Joy (Steve Libe) Ainsworth, IA, Jill (Kenneth) McDowell, Washington, IA; grandchildren, Alyza Stottler, Zoey Stottler, Jakey Stottler, Ryver Stottler, Thomas Stottler and Xayne Stottler; and her beloved fur babies, Gizmo and Angel.
