Kathlyn Louise 'Kay' Gentry

      Kathlyn Louise "Kay" Tompkins Gentry, 93, of Fairfield, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at the Jefferson County Hospital Living Care Center in Fairfield.

      At Mrs. Gentry's request, no funeral or visitation is planned. The body has been cremated. Anyone wishing to pay their respects may attend the burial of her cremains at 11 a.m. Monday at Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Marvin Robeck officiating.

      Memorials may be made to Evergreen Cemetery.

      Mrs. Gentry was born Jan. 19, 1915, in Fairfield, the daughter of Richard S. and Grace Thomas Warner. She married R.V. "Tommy" Tompkins July 11, 1936. He died Jan. 15, 1980. She was later married to Edgar Gentry, who died in 1987.
