LONE TREE ? Kathryn ?Katie? Rose Birtcher, 8, of Lone Tree, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at the Lone Tree American Legion, with a 7:30 p.m. rosary service. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the American Legion. The family asks that you please wear something pink in honor of her favorite color. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery. Following the committal, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the American Legion. A general memorial fund has been established. The Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree is handling the arrangements.
