Kathryn L. Berstler

Kathryn L. Berstler 73, of 311 Stone Hedge Dr. NW, Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007, from injuries suffered in an auto accident. Services at 11 a.m. Saturday in Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Rev. Sheryll Untiedt of the Shueyville United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and at the chapel after 10:30 AM on Saturday.

      Kathryn was born June 23, 1933 in Martelle, Iowa to Rev. Robert and Kathryn Steele McDonald. She graduated from Washington, Iowa High School in 1951. She married Ralph E. Berstler on September 28, 1957 in Washington, Iowa. She worked in production at Rockwell-Collins from 1966 to 1990. She was a member of the Genealogical Society of Linn County. She loved gardening, traveling, and was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan.
