Katie Borntrager
KALONA-Katie Borntrager, 92, of rural Kalona, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at home, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at the Duane Miller residence in rural Kalona, with the Rev. Truman Miller the Rev. Ivan Borntrager officiating. Burial will be in South Gingerich Cemetery. Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona is in charge of arrangements
Mrs. Borntrager was born on May 27, 1911, in Yoder, Kan., to John E. and Barbara (Yoder) Borntrager. On Aug. 3, 1958, she married Eli M. Borntrager in Jamesport, Mo.
