Katie E. Schlabach
KALONA-Katie E. Schlabach, 90, of rural Kalona, died Saturday, July 24, 2004, at home, following a brief illness.
Celebration of Life services were held this morning at Sharon Bethel Mennonite Church in rural Kalona, with the Rev. Delmar Bontrager, the Rev. Jacob Yoder, and the Rev. Gabriel Beachy officiating. Burial was in North Gingerich Cemetery in rural Kalona.
Mrs. Schlabach was born on Jan. 19, 1914, in Haven, Kan., to Enos M. and Mattie (Borntrager) Yoder. On Nov. 7, 1937, she married Albert Schlabach in Johnson County.
