Kay Jorgensen

BOONE ? Kay Jorgensen, 68, of Glendale, Ariz., near Phoenix, Ariz., and formerly of Washington and of the greater Chicago area, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at her home.

    The body has been cremated.  A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, at the Walter-Schroeder Funeral Home in Boone with the Rev. Paul A. Peebler officiating.  Following the memorial service, you are invited to join the family at the Golden Corral in Boone for a time of visitation.  Burial will be prior to the memorial service, in the Boone Memorial Gardens in Boone.  Memorials may be directed to the family to be used at their discretion.

    Mrs. Jorgensen was born July 26, 1941, in Washington, the daughter of George Lorel and Eva Edith (Neff) Garrett.
