Keith Edward Litwiller, 77, of Washington, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. Funeral services have been set for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Washington Mennonite Church. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, with the family present from 4 to 7 p.m. at

the Beatty Funeral Home.

A general memorial fund has been established. The Beatty Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Keith Edward Litwiller was born Jan. 16, 1942, in Hopedale, Ill., the son of Chancy and Elsie (Egli) Litwiller. His family moved to Washington, Iowa, in 1955, so their sons could attend Iowa Mennonite School, with Keith graduating in 1960. Keith was united in marriage to Barbara Walker at the Little Brown Church in Nashua on Jan. 13, 1971. He was a member of the Washington Mennonite church, lifelong farmer and worked for Culligan and United Suppliers. Keith enjoyed watching sports, Westerns, classic car auctions and spending time with his family.

Keith is survived by his son, Chad Litwiller of Washington, Iowa; daughter, Aimee (Brian) Miller of Waseca, Minn.; brother, Francis (Phyllis) Litwiller of Kalona, Iowa; and grandchildren, Abigail Katherine and Carter Miller.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara; and brother, Cecil Litwiller.
