Keith Wells

KEOTA - Keith Wells, 95, of Keota, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2008.

      Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. today in the United Church of Faith in Keota with the Rev. Dennis Hopes officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. A memorial fund has been established for the United Church of Faith or the Wilson Memorial Library. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota is in charge of the arrangements.

      Mr. Wells was born Dec. 13, 1912, in rural Washington County, the son of Roy and Jessie Clara (Johnston) Wells. He married Margaret Alice Crayne on June 24, 1936. He later married Mary Verlee Smith Pierce on Aug. 24, 1962.
