Kenneth H. Boge-Johnson

      MOUNT PLEASANT-Kenneth H. Boge-Johnson, 57, of Crawfordsville, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007, at his home, after an extended battle with cancer.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at New song Episcopal Church in Coralville, with the Rev. Elizabeth Coulter officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in the Crawfordsville Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the family home in Crawfordsville. A general memorial fund has been established. Beatty-Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant is in charge of the arrangements.

      Mr. Boge-Johnson was born on Oct. 18, 1949, in Dyersville, the son of Eugene "Pete" and Mary (Huberty) Boge. He was united in Holy Covenant with Terry Johnson on Sept. 25, 2000, at New Song Episcopal Church in Coralville. The couple served as foster parents and had welcomed 15 children into their home.
