Kenneth J. Peiffer

      KEOTA - Kenneth J. Peiffer, 82, of Keota, died Monday, June 20, 2005, at Maplewood Manor in Keota, following a lengthy illness.

      Celebration of Life services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 23, at Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota, with the Rev. Marty Goetz officiating. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Catholic Cemetery in Harper. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota, with a wake service at 7:30 p.m. A general memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Peiffer was born on July 14, 1922, near Harper to Stephen and Gertrude (Flander) Peiffer. He married Theresa Sieren on Jan. 31, 1948, at Ss. Peter and Paul Church.
