Kenneth Ray Bender
Kenneth Ray Bender, 63, of Washington, died Friday, May 25, 2012, in the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City following complications of surgery.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, at the Washington United Methodist Church in Washington. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will greet friends from 5 until 8 p.m. A memorial fund for the family has been established.
