Kenneth Vern 'Boomer' Boomershine
NEW LONDON - Kenneth Vern "Boomer" Boomershine, 78, of Morning Sun died Monday, July 16, 2007 in his residence.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 23 in Elmwood Cemetery, Morning Sun with Robert Gillette officiating. Military rites will be conducted by Hays-Scott Post No. 112 of American Legion of Morning Sun. Elliott Chapel, New London is in charge of the arrangements. A memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Boomershine was born Nov. 26, 1928 in Cambridge, Ill., the son of Glenn and Dorothy (Ellis) Boomershine. He married Dixie Klaus on June 17, 1953 in Keota.
