Kermit Lee Farrier

      OTTUMWA - Kermit Lee Farrier, 73, of Ottumwa died Monday, Dec. 19, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      A funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 22, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ottumwa, with the Rev. John Spiegel officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Reece Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 in the evening. Memorials have been established for St. Patrick Catholic Church or Hospice.

      Mr. Farrier was born Sept. 20, 1932, in Washington County, to Floyd Eugene and Francelia (Dickinson) Farrier. He married Patricia K. Bruty on Nov. 26, 1955, in Washington. She preceded him in death in 2004.
