Kessler R. Olson

Kessler Ross "Kay" Olson, 65, of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, Nov. 27, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Visitation began at noon today, Dec. 1, at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Jeff Crawford officiating. A military flag presentation will be accorded at the service by the Henry County Honor Guard.

He was born May 21, 1943, in Monmouth, Ill., the son of Frank and Penca Ross Olson. On Oct. 15, 1967, he married Marsha Sue Rodgers in Olds.
