Kevin Scott Miller, age 69, of Tucson, AZ, passed away on September 11, 2024. He was born in Burlington, IA on April 22, 1955, to Curtis and Helen Miller. He grew up in New London until 1967 when the family moved to Springville, IA and later to Rogers, AR. Kevin was a senior when he arrived in Rogers and following high school he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Germany as field photographer and motion pictures. Upon returning home to Rogers, he attended the University of Arkansas obtaining both his BS & MS in Industrial Engineering. Kevin was recruited by IBM in Manassas, VA and then Texas Instrument in Dallas, TX. His final employment was with Raytheon in Tucson, AZ where he later enjoyed retirement life. Kevin’s greatest joys were his 1969 Dodge Charger, photography, collection of comic related art, and bantering with his quick wit on subjects about life including politics. Although he did not graduate with the Springville Class of 1973, Kevin attended the 50th class reunion and very much enjoyed being with his former classmates.

A celebration of life and committal of his ashes will be held Saturday, July 5, at 10:30 am, in Burge Cemetery, New London, IA. His final resting place will be near the new flagpole for recognition of his service to our country.
