Kevin W. Franklin, 63, a resident of Fairfield, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at his home.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Saturday. Memorials may be made to Noah’s Ark Animal Foundation.

Kevin was born July 5, 1960 in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Marion and Joyce (Cool) Franklin. He was a local painter and artist.

Kevin enjoyed riding his motorcycle and bicycle, music, and being with people. Kevin lived life to the fullest. He loved his deceased dog, Harley, and several cats.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Alexis Simmers of Ottumwa; grandson, Atreyu Humphrey; his mother, Joyce (McCullough) Dunn of Cordova, Tennessee; and sister, Cindy Franklin of Mackinaw, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his father.
