Kevin Wayne Crossett, 62, of Ainsworth, Iowa, died Thursday, July 22, 2021, at his residence following a lengthy illness

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 8, at the Marr Park Conservation Center. Memorials have been established for Hospice of Washington County or Marr Park. Kevin was born March 9, 1959, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Joe and Doris (Lowe) Crossett. Kevin attended school in Lagrange, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Judie Seitz on March 2, 1981, in Washington, Iowa.

Kevin worked at Crane Valves in Washington, Iowa, before moving to Kentucky to work with his brother, Bob. He returned to Washington and worked for Crane Valves and lastly worked for Victor Plastics and EPC in Kalona, Iowa. Kevin enjoyed going to the casino, fishing, karaoke and various remodeling projects.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Judie Crossett of Ainsworth, Iowa; daughter, Krista K. Crossett of Wayland, Iowa; daughter, Mary Lloyd and husband Danny of Crawfordsville, Iowa; daughter, Susan Q. Lee and husband Jy of Iowa City, Iowa; daughter, Emma Crossett of Iowa City, Iowa; son, George J. Bruce and wife Winnie of Lawton, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Kevin is also survived by sister, Helen Jones of Hazel, KY; sister, Judy Baumert and husband Dennis of Keota, Iowa; brother, Michael Crossett and wife Celia of Georgetown, Texas; Dan Crossett of Des Moines, IA; Jeff Crossett of Keota, IA; and brother, Ray Crossett and wife Deanna of Quincy, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Mark Crossett and Bob Crossett; and an infant sister, Rebecca Crossett.
