Khay Baccam, 46, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021.

Khay was born May 3,

1975, in Laos. She was married to Keith Baccam and worked for West Liberty Foods. Khay was always kind and welcoming to everyone around her and made friends with those that she met. She enjoyed cooking and was well known for making eggrolls, crab rangoons and other specialties that she shared with others. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with friends in her past time. She also devoted her time to working hard so that she could care for her mother and siblings overseas.

Khay is survived by a stepson, Jeffrey Baccam of Iowa City; two stepdaughters, Loraine (Sagar) Patel of Fairfield and Emily (Nic) Youngers of Urbandale; and her mother and siblings.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant. Burial will take place at a later date.
