Kimberly A. Huppenbauer February 12, 1981 - October 31, 2005

      Kimberly Ann Huppenbauer, 24, of Burlington, died at 7:01 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. Randall Gearheart officiating. Burial will be in South Walker Cemetery in rural Burlington. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 at the chapel with family present from 5 to 8 p.m. Friends and family will gather at Gator's following the committal service. Gator's will reopen to the public at 4 p.m. Saturday. A memorial has been established.

Survivors include her father and stepmother, Michael and Linda Huppenbauer of Burlington; her mother and stepfather, Kathy and Eric Thomas of Smithshire, Ill.; her boyfriend, Aaron Stevens of Burlington; three sisters, Summer Marnin of Altoona, and Tiffany Huppenbauer and Amber Huppenbauer, both of Burlington; maternal grandfather, A.J. Thomason of Carthage, Ill.; step maternal grandfather, George Vaughn of Wapello; uncle and aunt, Wayne and Madeleine Scott of Stockton, Mo.; and step grandparents, Virgil and Phyllis Scott of Burlington.

      She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Bonnie "Me Me" Vaughn; and paternal grandparents, Clifford and Irma L. Huppenbauer.
