Kimberly J. Latcham, age 54, of Washington, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the Washington County Hospital.

A memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home, with Pastor Jason Collier officiating. Visitation began at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2025, with the family present to receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery at a later date. Kim was born on August 15, 1970, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Ward R. and Sharon K. (Kimmel) Latcham. She graduated from Washington High School in 1988 and married Heath McDonald in 1990. The couple had three amazing children together.

Kim spent most of her life in Washington. She worked as a medical receptionist for Family Practice and later Flexible Family Care. Kim loved going to concerts and watching movies. She was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan and especially loved watching Iowa Wrestling. Above all, she cherished spending time with her friends and family, especially spoiling her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: son, Tyler (Nicole) McDonald of Riverside, Iowa; daughter, Emilee (Ethan) Dorothy of Fairfield, Iowa; and daughter, Kylee (Jesse) Ward of Belle Plaine, Iowa; along with four grandchildren: Harper McDonald, Dawson McDonald, Adalynn Dorothy, and Sylah Dorothy. She is also survived by her sisters: Jacque (Jerry) Johnson of Washington, Iowa and Tammy Calhoun of Crocker, Missouri; and her brothers: Mike (Julie) Dickerson of Tiffin, Iowa; Brian (Joyce) Dickerson of Washington, Iowa; Larry (Sarah) Dickerson of Washington, Iowa; and Robert (Jodi) Latcham of Washington, Iowa; along with many nieces and nephews.

Kim was preceded in death by parents; her niece, Makayla; her grandmother, Fern Kimmel; her grandparents, Minnie and Reynolds Latcham; and her aunt, Joann Kimmel.
