Kimberly Jean Lane
Kimberly Jean Lane, 42, of Wayland, died Sunday, March 9, 2008, in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a long struggle with cancer.
Funeral services will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 15, in the Bethel Mennonite Church in Wayland with her brother Darren Ray Brown officiating. The body has been cremated and will be scattered at a later date. Beatty Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.
Ms. Lane was born Oct. 7, 1965, in Yakima, Wash., the daughter of Leonard Edward Brown, adopted mother Dora Elizabeth Wynn and biological mother, LaVonne Rae Smith.
