Kristin Lynn Kurtz passed away in Gilbert, Arizona, on July 16, 2022. She was born in Fairfield Iowa on June 20, 1971, and was the only child of Gregory J. Kurtz and Rhonda Huffman Kurtz. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1989, and then graduated from the University of Northern Iowa. After college, she followed her parents to live in Arizona. She ran her first marathon in college, and then continued running marathons and hiking the mountains in Phoenix. She worked in property management and medical administration fields.

She is survived by her daughter, Kameron and Kameron's husband, Gary Webb Jr. of Chandler, Arizona; her mother, Rhonda Kurtz of Chino Valley, Arizona; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be missed most of all by her boo, Josh Simmons of Gilbert, Arizona. He was her love, her longtime companion, her caregiver and her biggest cheerleader.

Her father Gregory J. Kurtz will be there to welcome her to heaven.
