KALONA ? L. Pauline Yoder, 77, of Kalona, formerly of Jackson, Ky., died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, in the Pleasantview Home in Kalona following a battle with cancer.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at the Sunnyside Conservative Church in Kalona with the Rev. John King and the Rev. Phil Swartzentruber officiating. Burial will follow at the East Mennonite Cemetery in rural Kalona. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for the Turners Creek Mennonite Church and Iowa City Hospice.
