Ladene Peterson

Ladene Peterson, 85, of Burlington, died at 3:50 p.m. Jan. 4, 2005, at the Klein Center of Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7 at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. Bill Walkup, of the Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation begins today at noon at Lunning Chapel with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to the Church of Christ New Building Addition Fund.

Survivors include two daughters, Sonja Fleming of Burlington, and Kathy Nance of Princeton, Ill.; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; four brothers, Max Harris of Davenport, Blaine Harris and Glenn Harris, both of Burlington; and Lowell Harris of Alpha, Ill.; and two sisters, Nedra Kinyon of Guttenberg, and Morna Darrah of West Burlington.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Patricia K. Peterson; and two brothers, Robert and Leon Harris.
