LaDonna G. Cole, 79, of Keosauqua passed away Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, at the Keosauqua Health Care Center. A celebration of life will be held at a later date due to her being cremated at her request.

LaDonna was born in Spring Valley, Minn., on Feb. 14, 1941, to Rueben and Eleanor Frazer (Long). She married Earl J. Cole. They moved several times ending up in Van Buren County, where she opened a quilt shop and ran it for several years until retiring after her husband's death. She loved sewing and making quilts.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earll and her brothers, Glen, David, Rueben, Jr. "Sam," Blaine and Kevin.

LaDonna is survived by two sisters, Kathy Campbell of Bonaparte and Brenda Dunegan of Evansdale. Also surviving are her children, Robert of Ottumwa, Ricky of rural Centerville and Robin of Bonaparte; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
