LaFaune H. Vandersnick June 25, 1925 - November 8, 2003

      LaFaune Hope Vandersnick, 78, of Mt. Pleasant died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at the Pleasant Manor Care Center following a brief illness.

      Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation will be held today, from noon to 8 p.m. at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established in her memory.

      Survivors include her mother, Nelle Vandersnick of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Beverlee Hagerman of Cedar Rapids and Juanita Allender of Peoria, Ill.

      She was preceded in death by her father Frank, and by a sister JoAnne Frost.
