Lambert E. Neill Jr.

      Lambert E. Neill Jr., 75, of Kalona, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, in Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, following a short illness.

      Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 18, in the Kalona United Methodist Church in Kalona with the Rev. Lynn Patrick officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The visitation will continue Friday from 8 a.m. to noon in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Kalona United Methodist Church or the New Horizons Band.

      Mr. Neill was born April 24, 1932, in Colo, the son of Lambert E. and Wilma (Ransom) Neill. He married Doriene Crouse on Aug. 16, 1959 in Clearfield.
