Lamont J. Kelley
KALONA - Lamont J. Kelley, 84, of Washington, and formerly of Kalona, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Richmond, with the Rev. Dennis Martin and the Rev. Mark Swanson officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be held from noon to 8:30 p.m. on Friday at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, where a rosary service will take place at 3 p.m. and a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Visitation will also continue through noon on Saturday. A general memorial fund has been established.
