Lamonte Harold Pettis
Lamonte Harold Pettis, 96, of the Danville Care Center, formerly of Burlington, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2005, at the care center.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13 at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. Trevor Davis officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at the chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the Thursday service. A memorial has been established to the Danville Care Center.
Survivors include his wife.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
