LaRay L. Keiser, age 74, of Brooklyn, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery. Cards and memorials may be sent to Mike in care of LaRay at 3820 175th St., Brooklyn, IA 52211.
LaRay is survived by her loving husband Mike of Brooklyn, her children Kimberley Keiser of Chicago, IL, Bryan Carlson of Clearwater, FL, and Michelle Graham of Brooklyn; four grandchildren, Michaela Carlson (Devarrius Landfair) of Reinbeck, Bradly Graham of Victor, Andrew Carlson of Oskaloosa, and Jordan Graham of Brooklyn; and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving LaRay are her twin sister Lori Nelson (Mike) of Brooklyn, and Leon Behrends (Rhea) of Forest City.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Larry Behrends of Forest City.
LaRay Lee Lines was born November 2, 1949, in Waterloo, the daughter of Galen and Lucile Ahart Lines. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School with the Class of 1968. She was united in marriage to Mike Keiser on July 15, 1977, in Newton. LaRay was a homemaker, mother, sister, friend and the best grandmother ever. She loved to spend her time on Facebook, social media and gardening. She especially enjoyed spending her time with her husband, family, grandkids, and friends. LaRay will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
