Larry A. Jubell, 74, of Mt. Pleasant, IA, passed away at Iowa City VA Healthcare System peacefully surrounded by his children on Monday, November 8, 2021.

Larry was born on March 1, 1947, in Boone, IA, Larry was the son of Jesse and C. Lorraine (Gilliam) Jubell. He graduated in 1965 from Boone High School. Larry served in the United States Army where he earned the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was stationed in Germany and served in Vietnam. After Larry's service to our country he was employed by Motorola, Goodyear for many years and retired from Veyance Technologies (now Continental). Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, gold prospecting, traveling and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughter, Jessica (Adam) Wagner; son, Richard Jubell; three grandchildren, Ava, Jamie and Amelia Wagner; siblings, Scott Jubell, Melissa Jubell and Tom Jubell; and by many nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bob Jubell and John Jubell.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
