Larry D. Haufle, 85, of Wapello, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction. Visitation as held on Saturday, October 29, 2002, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Wapello. Funeral services was held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Prairie Center Cemetery in Packwood. Larry Doyle Haufle was born on December 19, 1936, in Fairfield, Iowa, the son of Ivan and Irene (Estes) Haufle. He was a graduate of Parson’s College in Fairfield. Larry was united in marriage to Charlotte Campbell and later divorced. Larry worked for John Deere in Ottumwa and also farmed. He enjoyed fishing, spending time outside, farming and vacationing with his family.

Larry will be deeply missed by his children, Jackie Marie (James Coyle) Staats of Columbus Junction, Larry Lee Haufle of California and Dennis Clay Haufle of Mexico; grandchildren, Shannan Pickering, Clayton (Danielle) Pickering, Beth Ann (Tim) Gutierrez, Larry B. (Ashley) Haufle, Jason Haufle, Joshua Haufle and Jordan Haufle; his great-grandchildren, Micah Pickering, Mady Pickering, Rochelle Gutierrez, Nevaeh Gutierrez, Adelynn Haufle, Aven Haufle and Grayson Haufle; and one brother, Ronnie Haufle of Wisconsin.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
