Larry Faye Morrow, age 85, of Wayland, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at the Cottonwood United Methodist Church in Wayland at a later date. Interment will take place at Cottonwood Cemetery. Larry was born January 5, 1939, in Washington, Iowa, son of Gilbert and Ethel (McNeese) Morrow. He attended the Red Brick School, Brighton schools, and later Washington High School. On January 30, 1960, Larry married Evelyn Farmer in Washington, Iowa.

Larry was a proud member of the Cottonwood United Methodist Church in Wayland. He enjoyed old cars, camping, and attending family activities. Early in his career, Larry worked for Speedway Grocery and Cashway Lumber in Washington, and later for Rock Island Railroad. He then purchased his own semi-truck, hauling livestock for Morrell’s and Davenport Packing. Larry retired in 2004 as a truck driver for West Liberty Foods.

Larry is survived by his wife, Evelyn; daughter, Denise Morrow-Nebel of Wayland, Iowa; son, Greg Morrow (Jackie Hill Morrow) of Wayland, Iowa; five grandchildren: Trace Nebel (Treye Rosenberger), Zeke Nebel, Michael (Kalyn) Pytel, Kole (Patience) Hudson, Dakotah (Alanna) Knerr; and eight great-grandchildren.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jean Blessing; Dean “Skip” Morrow, J.R. “Doc” Morrow, Melvin “Bo” Morrow, Don Morrow; sister, Lola Sinn; sister, Mattie Lou Manning; Dick Morrow; and son-in-law, Keith Nebel.
