Larry L. Peebler

      Larry L. Peebler, 69, of Batavia, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Hospice House in Ottumwa.

      A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Kremer Funeral Chapel in Batavia, with the Rev. Jack Jackson officiating. Cremation will follow, with inurnment in Batavia Cemetery at a later date.

      Open visitation began at noon today at the chapel, with Masonic services at 7 p.m. and the family present following the service until 8:30 p.m.

      Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Wapello County.

      Mr. Peebler was born May 21, 1939, in Ottumwa, the son of Glen and Grace Peebler. He married Connie Humsten Aug. 31, 1990, in Batavia.
