Larry P. 'Slick' Savely
Larry Paul "Slick" Savely, 61, of Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, July 23, at the emergency room of Henry County Health Center.
Visitation will held from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, with family present from 2 to 5 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 28, at the Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Jeff McPheron officiating. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery.
Memorials have been established for H2O (Help to Others), Mooseheart and Moosehaven.
He was born August 15, 1946, in Charles City, the son of Paul and Dorothy Orr Savely. On June 19, 1965, he married Juanita Hildebrand in Mt. Pleasant.
