Larry W. Richard

      Larry W. Richard, 52, of Wayland, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, at Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant, as the result of injuries suffered in an auto accident.

      Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church in Wayland, with the Rev. Robert Hartzler officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Cemetery. Visitation began at noon today at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church; family will be present from 5 to 8 this evening. Memorials may be directed to Parkview Home in Wayland. Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland is assisting with the arrangements.

      Mr. Richard was born on May 7, 1951, in Mt. Pleasant, to Oscar and Catherine (Yoder) Richard. He married Mary Jo Manning on Dec. 27, 1970, at PleasantView Mennonite Church.
