Laura E. Knowles

      Laura E. Knowles, 70, of Stockport, died at 7:46 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2007, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Stockport United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Michael Renken officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

      Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, where the family will be present from 7-8 p.m.

      Memorials may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 215 N. Main St., Stockport 52651.

      Mrs. Knowles was born Oct. 1, 1936, in Peoria, Ill., the daughter of Benjamin and Marjorie Clark Heinold. She married Gordon A. Knowles July 31, 1954, at First Methodist Church in Fairfield.
