Laurel M. Triska
Laurel M. Triska, 56, of Washington, died Friday, April 22, 2005, at Washington Care Center, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Julie Poulsen officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday, at the funeral home, with family present from 7 to 8 p.m., Tuesday evening. A general memorial has been established.
Mrs. Triska was born on Feb. 15, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, to Robert Lee and Gertrude (Peters) McAvoy. On April 22, 1968, she married Ernest Earl Triska in Iowa City.
