Lauren R. 'Larry' White

Lauren R. ?Larry? White, 68, of Keosauqua, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at home.

A memorial service will be at a later date. The body has been cremated.

Gifts to a memorial to be designated later by the family may be mailed to 2331 Cathedral Ave., Apt. 409, Washington D.C. 20008.

Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is assisting the family.

Mr. White was born May 23, 1945, in Chicago, the son of Alan and Franziska Parkinson White. He married Claudia Weise in 1969.  She died in 1970.

He served as librarian at the Keosauqua Public Library.

He was a natural born musician and had sung in local church choirs.

Survivors include one son, Theodore White and spouse Joanna of Washington, D.C.; one brother, Douglass White of Fairfield; and one sister, Marjorie White of Cape Cod, Mass.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
