LaVera E. Miller

      WELLMAN - LaVera E. Miller, 92, of Wellman, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, in her home following a lengthy illness.

      A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wellman with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial will be in Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman where the family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m. A rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Trees Forever and for the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wellman.

      Mrs. Miller was born March 26, 1915, in rural Keota, the daughter of Peter and Mary (Bohrofen) Greiner. She married Jay Russell Miller on Sept. 9, 1941, in St. Mary's Church in Keota.
