Laverne Herbert Hueholt
Laverne Herbert Hueholt, 75, of Wayland, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, in the Henry County Hospital in Mount Pleasant following a battle with lung cancer.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with Northeast District Superintendent Jackie Bradford officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at the Green Mound Cemetery in rural Trenton. Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for the Wayland Methodist Church, Spring Grove Methodist Church, The American Cancer Society and Prison Ministries.
